The surprise of a lifetime with Mira (Jubica) Stirmers. SOUL PODCAST Episode #7

Name: Mira Jubica
Age (optional): 41
Occupation: Segment Manager at NXP Semiconductor
Favorite Quote: It’s not how big the house is, it’s how happy the home is.

What line in the Her Soul Story manifesto speaks to you the most? Why?
My mind and heart are open and ready to think big. It resonates with me the most
because I am in this state of fluidity in my own thinking and being. The more
flexible I think I am the more I can relate to both my national identities.

How do you define a soul story?
I define a soul story as something deeply meaningful in one’s life, perhaps
something that defined who they or became, or something that will determine
their destiny.

What is one of the best life lessons you have learned so far?
Making lemonade.

What inspires you?
People with focus and dedication. Being surrounded by people with this ability is
very inspiring to me, makes me want to be better. It can be my boss, an artist, a
friend at her ability to manage her household.

What motivates you?
I am just a hopeful person. I try to project positivity and light into my future so it
will be so.

Do you have a daily practice that you do not miss?
I have so many but they don’t all make it every day. I make healthy lunches for
my kids every single day. It’s a thing I have been doing since my oldest started
going to preschool. I put a lot of care and love into it. It’s my way of saying I love
you to my kids as a working mom. I try my best to have a family dinner every
single night, doesn’t always work out. I read to my kids most nights, but a lot of
times now my oldest will read to my youngest. Having a glass of wine at the end of the day with my husband. I wish I could say I meditate every day but that is
one practice I still need to master on a daily basis.

If you could go back and give your younger self one piece of advice what would it be?
Be fearless, everyone else is just as scared as you are.

Who is the community you surround yourself with and why is that important to you?
My community is pretty varied, people from all walks of life but the one thing they
have in common is that they are real and authentic, people I can depend on and
love me for who I am, I don’t have to pretend to be someone else. Not having my
family close, having a strong community is extremely important to me.
